How Grim Reaper Became the Avatar of Death

Mainstream academia seems to have an adequate argument for the origin of the Grim Reaper. However, some researchers have approached the topic from a different angle by analyzing accounts of other phenomena during the same time period. William Bramley, author of the Gods of the Eden, posited that accounts of bright lights and foul-smelling mists are correlative to the possible appearance of the so-called Grim Reaper.
